Tanker truck smashes into ambulance

Surveillance cameras captured the moment an ambulance running a red light was hit by a giant tanker truck in Wuhu city, Anhui Province. The footage shows the ambulance ignoring the red light and driving directly through a crossroads, before suddenly being struck hard by the fast-moving tanker truck. The ambulance span several times. The driver and one doctor were injured in the incident, but neither is believed to be in a life-threatening condition. “Both sides should take half of the responsibility for the accident,” said a local police officer. “Ambulances are allowed to run the red light to reduce rescuing time.”
