Police fire teargas at protesting Uni students

Police fire tear gas, water cannon on student protestors - The police fired teargas and used water cannons to disperse the protesting students of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura in Colpetty a short while ago. The police used the teargas after the students tried to enter the Temple Tree area in Colpetty. Earlier, heavy traffic was reported along High Level Road and Galle Road due to the protest march organised by the students of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
