Wall collapse in Girls College in Galle

Six students of Rippon Girls College, Galle were admitted to the Karapitiya General Hospital after a wall in the college premises collapsed around 1.30 p.m.yesterday. This incident occurred when the students were leaving the school. The parents complained that the wall has not been constructed in accordance with the proper safety standards. Karapitiya Hospital sources said the condition of the students receiving treatment at the hospital is not serious.
