Min­is­ter Dilip saves in­jured mon­key

A mon­key that had been se­ri­ously in­jured af­ter be­ing hit by a speed­ing mo­tor­bike was taken to a vet­eri­nary sur­geon by State Min­is­ter of Fish­eries Dilip Wedaarachchi A mon­key that had been se­ri­ously in­jured af­ter be­ing hit by a speed­ing mo­tor­bike was taken to a vet­eri­nary sur­geon by State Min­is­ter of Fish­eries Dilip Wedaarachchi The mon­key had been hit by the mo­tor­bike be­hind which the min­is­ter’s jeep had come. The min­is­ter who had seen the mon­key thrown on to the road­side had stopped his ve­hi­cle and taken it to a vet­eri­nary sur­geon in his ve­hi­cle. After it was treated the min­is­ter had taken the an­i­mal with him say­ing he would keep it as a pet.
