Muthurajawela pipeline leak issue still unsolved It has still not been possible to fix the oil leak in a pipeline carrying oil to the Muthurajawela Storage. Environmentalists point out that the surrounding wetlands are severely affected by this oil leak. Temporary steps have been taken to prevent oil from contaminating the Lagoon. Residents point out that steps taken have thus affected the daily chores of the people.
