The police had requested that the suspects be granted bail, as the DNA report is yet to be received.A group of lawyers who are old boys of the school the student was from, represented him at the court hearing today. The group of lawyers pointed out that the student who is to sit for the Advanced Level Examination next year, has been subject to a major embarrassment due to his arrest. They submitted that the arbitrary arrest of innocents poses questions regarding the safety of other citizens as well. The lawyers noted that it is unjust to accuse someone of murder, simply based on the fact that the person in question has inappropriate content on their laptop.
