Abducted Lankan engineer returns home

D.A. Karunadasa, the Sri Lankan engineer who was abducted and released later by a militant group in Nigeria, returned to the country yesterday. Karunadasa arrived at the airport at 1.30 p.m. yesterday. Speaking to media at the airport, Karunadasa said he resigned from his job in Nigeria and would make a final decision on working overseas after consulting his family members. "My company informed me I was free to come back at any time," he said.
