killing of woman at Kahawatte: son arrested

Police today arrested the 18-year-old son of the woman recently killed in the Kotakethana area in Kahawatta in connection with the shocking murder. Chandrani Swarnalatha, a 39-year-old mother of three, had been reported missing last Sunday (05). A search operation was launched to locate her following a complaint lodged with the Kahawatta Police by the husband of the missing woman.
