Hewa Koparage Mervyn Silva is a Sri Lankan politician, Member of Parliament and a former government minister.Former Minister Mervin Silva speaking about Gotabaya Rajapaksa described him as a demon that the people of this country know only one side of. Silva questioned whether the public wants to elect a person who fled to the United States of America during the war as their president. He described this notion as ridiculous adding that the country would be better off with him as president.
