State minister’s son involved in accident

A luxury jeep belonging to the son of a prominent state minister was taken into custody by the police in connection with an accident, near Viharamahadevi Park last night, in which one person was injured, police sources said. The minister’s son had reported to the police station today and been released on police bail. The Cinnamon Gardens police are conducting further investigations.
