Medical student’s body found in hostel

The body of a 27-year-old medical student attached to the Colombo Medical Faculty was found from a student’s hostel near Norris Canal road yesterday, police said. Police found 10 saline bottles and a vial on the floor near his body. The deceased identified as Parinda Senaviratne from Bibile, was residing at Room 96 of the medical students hostel at Norris Canal Road. His colleagues have not seen him since noon, last Thursday.
