Four persons drown in Balapitiya sea

Four persons have reportedly drowned in the sea off Balapitiya on the Southern coast. Police said that the bodies of 2 females have been recovered while the other 2 males are still missing. The drowning victims, said to be members of the same family, were sea bathing in the area when they were suddenly dragged away into sea by strong currents.
