Army Lieutenant Colonel arrested for shooting

Army Lieutenant Colonel arrested in connection to the shooting of his wife - A Sri Lanka Army Lieutenant Colonel was arrested today by Athurugiriya Police in connection of the shooting of his wife on Saturday night. The 45-year-old mother of three was shot through a window of the house at Isurupura, Malabe. She was admitted to Colombo National Hospital where she underwent surgery. The shooting took place at around 10.15 p.m. on Saturday. Police recorded a statement from her husband on Monday.
