Namal Rajapaksa remanded

The Colombo Fort Magistrate remanded United Peoples’ Freedom Alliance (UPFA) MP Namal Rajapaksa until July 18. He was produced in Court after the Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) of the Police arrested him this afternoon. He had been summoned to the FCID this morning to record a statement relating to investigations of financial fraud committed by him.
