Avant Garde’s ship captain Re- remanded

The Ukrainian captain of the vessel MV Avant Garde was re-remanded till August 1 by the Galle Magistrate Court, this morning. He was arrested on June 23 by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Police on charges of illegally possessing and importing firearms and explosives to Sri Lanka.
