Harin alleges Anura ruining JVP’s good name

Minister of Telecommunication and Digital Infrastructure Harin Fernando yesterday accused JVP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake of brazenly tarnishing the good name of the party. Addressing the media at UNP headquarters Sirikotha, Minister Fernando alleged that the JVP leader had adopted what he called despicable practice of throwing mud at various parties in a bid to divert attention from criticism directed at him. Minister Fernando claimed that the LTTE and the JVP had committed many a murder and wreaked havoc on the country. Having obtained duty free vehicle permits and while enjoying food provided by Parliament, JVP leader Dissanayake preached socialism, Minister Fernando said.
