Buddhist Monk missing - Niyandagala landslide

The Samanalawewa Police says that the Niyandagala mountain landslide in Samanalawewa has destroyed the temple in Niyandagala. It is also reported that a thero is missing after the landslide. The landslide was reported on Tuesday evening. Police and several relief teams have been deployed to the location. The Samanalawewa Police said that families residing at the foot of the mountain have been evacuated to safer locations.
