Man who threatened President on FB remanded

A man, who was arrested today on charges of threatening President Maithripala Sirisena in the social media, was remanded till May 6, by the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court today. The suspect, a resident of Yakkala, was arrested by the CID at the Bandaranaike International Airport today. He had been deported from Malaysia as he had been staying there without a valid visa.
