Colombo Kandy Expressway construction

Construction of Colombo – Kandy Expressway to commence The Ministry of Highways says that the construction of the Colombo-Kandy expressway will commence in the month of June. Minister Lakshman Kiriella said that construction will be conducted under three phases. The minister further noted that the lands which will be acquired for the construction of the Kandy highway, will be purchased at the market price.
