Suspect in Welikada shooting arrested

A suspect, allegedly connected to the shooting of a pregnant woman opposite the Welikada Prison has been arrested by the Police Crimes Division. The Police Media Unit said that the suspect was arrested in in Midigama, Weligama. The arrested individual is a 26-year-old resident of Weligama. A hand grenade and five mobile phones where found in the possession of the suspect. Further investigations into the incident, are being conducted by the Colombo Crimes Division.
