Kahatagaha Miners launch protest

60 workers begin protest inside Kahatagaha mine A group of miners who are attached to the Kahatagaha Mine in Dodangaslanda have commenced a fast, demanding a new year bonus. Around 60 miners are engaged in the fast at more than 1100 feet below ground level inside the mine.
