Mahinda goes to Walikada to visit Yoshitha

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa visited the remand prison at Welikada to see his son Yoshitha Rajapaksa Prison Media Spokesman said that special security measures has been introduced to prevent unnecessary visitors to the Prison premises. He said an inmate is allowed one visit each day and a maximum of three visitors. If there are more visitors they need to consult the Prison Superintendent. Visitors, including members of parliament, can visit prisoners from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day. The suspects can request food from homes for all three meals, if they wish, but so far they have not made a request, the spokesman said.
