Heated debate ensues in Parliament over Thajudeen

Parliament was adjourned on Friday evening, following a tense situation that arose, during the debate surrounding the death of rugby player Wasim Thajudeen. As tensions brewed between government and opposition MPs, as Edward Gunasekera who was in the Chair, adjourned Parliament. After parliament reconvened, proceedings were adjourned for the second time.
