Rs. 5.5 million robbed from private bank at Colombo 7

An unidentified man who arrived on a motorcycle had robbed a private bank at the Dharmapala Mawatha in Colombo 07, this morning, the Police said. They said he had taken some Rs. 5.5 million from the bank. The Police said the robber had assaulted two security guards at the bank using a weapon suspected to be a pistol.
