Minister D.V. Upul banned from leaving the country

The Colombo Additional Magistrate issued an order preventing Southern Provincial Council Fisheries Minister D.V. Upul from leaving the country. Additional Magistrate Nirosha Fernando issued the order today after CID reported the Court on the progress of the investigations in connection with the threatening statement made by the Provincial Minister against the FCID.
