Democratic Party (DP) Western Provincial Councilor and actor, Nalin Pradeep Udawela, today claimed that the government attempted to “buy” first and promised to pay Rs 50 million, to crossover to the ruling party. He alleged that the government even assured that his entire family would be given citizenship either in Canada, Australia or Nederland and if required a post as Homagama Co-Organiser.
