8 year old girl raped & killed in Batticaloa

An eight-year old girl of the Manjankuduvai area in Kattankudy, Batticaloa was found murdered on Thursday.The Police Media Spokesperson’s Office stated that the eight-year old girl named Fathima Zima, had been raped before being killed. An individual has been arrested in connection to the murder. Police are carrying out further investigations into the incident.
