Bope Poddala PS Members climb atop table to protest

Tensions flared at the monthly meeting of the Bope – Poddala Pradeshiya Sabha on Tuesday. A tense situation arose following protests by two members of the Pradeshiya Sabha. Ruling party member of the Bope – Poddala Pradeshiya Sabha, Premalal Abeysekera and the Opposition Leader of the Council, Mohammed Rishad, expressed their protest by climbing onto the table.
