5 liquor shops for Buddadasa - Samantha Vidyarathna

Uva is the poorest province in the country and Members of Uva Provincial Council from both the UNP and eh UPFA who came to power making various promises to people have used their power to open liquor shops says the Leader of the JVP for Uva Province former Parliamentarian Samantha Vidyarathna. He said the conduct of the ministers and MPs of a government that has ‘Mathata Thitha’ (Country without intoxication) as its policy could be gauged from this.
