Gammanpila released on bail

United People's Freedom Alliance (UPFA) MP Udaya Gammanpila was granted bail by the Colombo Fort Magistrate a short while ago. He was arrested by the Police Special Investigations Unit (SUI) at his office on Pagoda Road, Nugegeoda on June 18. He was held in relation to a case in which it was alleged he sold shares belonging to an Australian national, using forged Power-of-Attorney.
