Child lucky to survive fall from pedicab

A 6-year-old boy fell from an electric pedicab at a set of traffic lights in Guazhou county, Gansu Province recently. The child was then run over by an SUV behind, before the driver slammed on the brakes and pulled to a halt. Incredibly the boy got up to the ground with only a minor injury to his face. However, the boy’s mother, who had been driving the three-wheeled vehicle, continued without noticing that her son had fallen from the back. With the help of local police officers, the mother finally found her child and was fined 100 yuan (15 US dollars) for illegally transporting people in a vehicle only for transporting goods.
