Thajudeen case : CID given more Time

The Colombo Additional Magistrate Nishantha Peiris today gave two more months for the CID to submit a proper further report over the progress of the inquiry into the murder of ruggerite Wasim Thajudeen. Submiting a further report over the investigation conducted into Thajudeen’s murder, SSC Dilan Ratnayake who appeared for the AG told court that CID needs two more months to submit a proper further report. He also said that the CID have already sought foreign assistance into examining CCTV footage and it may take some time since they have to go through with the international procedures.
