Min. Upul to resign if ranjan’s charges are proved

A media briefing was convened by Southern Provincial Council Minister D.V. Upul in Hambantota on Sunday to respond to accusations that have been levelled by Deputy Minister Ranjan Ramanayake. He contacted Rajan Ramanayke over the phone and allowed journalists to listen in on the conversation. “You had made allegations on Sirasa yesterday that I had taken some loans,” charged the Southern Provincial Council Minister and went on to state that a case will be filed against Deputy Minster Ramanayake.
