Two arrested over Seya’s murder

A seventeen year old schoolboy and another man aged 33 were arrested on suspicion by the Kotadniyawa police in connection with the rape and murder of Seya Sandevmi of Akarangaha, Kotadeniyawa. The suspects were living in the vicinity of the girl’s house. The arrested school boy was a friend of the victim's family and was an A/L Commerce stream student of a reputed school in Gampaha. The CID said it had received information that the suspect was a drug addict
